Light - A Journal of Photography & Poetry 07 | Neglected | Page 5
A Note From the Editor
“People and things, do not disintegrate from aging, they do so from
being neglected.”
-Anonymous
We have all done it at some point in our lives; neglected
something or someone. Paid so little attention to it, that
it slowly fades from our memory until we no longer give
it a moment's thought. But the memory of that person or thing, whether good
or bad, is still there. The proof of that is in the pages in this issue. The poets
have taken the time to write about it and the photographers have found ways to
capture it through a lens; both bringing something once neglected to light. Our
artistic outlets are always there to help us heal.
Thank you for your continued support of Light.
Warm regards,
Jennifer Drucker
