A Note From the Editor

The beginning is the most important part of the work. - Plato
This is Light's beginning–two years in the making,
inspired by a lifetime of thought. It was incredibly
challenging to combine these two art forms, which are
almost invariably appreciated separately. I will admit,
I was warned–but my obstinate, driven personality
refused to listen, knowing it could successfully be done.

Thank you to all of the support we have received from both the
photography and poetry communities and to all of the artists who submitted
their work.

In this inaugural issue we explore the theme 'Human'. We hope
the journey into this issue lends a sense of connection to your fellow humans
leaving an enduring impression.
