Systematic Listening. Two years ago, LIFT embarked on a journey to more deeply and systematically listen to our Members. We did this because we wanted real-time feedback in order to innovate and better data to understand connections between Members’ personal, social, and financial foundations. We also did this because it was the right thing to do. To capture Member voice we implemented a tablet-driven system that collects micro-surveys from our Members after every visit to LIFT. After two years gathering data and running it through our feedback loops, we have learned a lot and changed our work because of what we have learned. Here’s a snapshot of some insights: Strong Relationships Mean Stronger Results for LIFT’s Members. Members who believe LIFT helps them with the goals that most matter to them make three times as much progress towards those goals – and take nearly twice as many concrete steps towards those goals. 20 Members Feel Agency Over Their Own Lives. Members Believe LIFT Has Their Back. 87% of Members tell us that at LIFT, they set their own goals and define what progress looks like to them. 87% of Members tell us that in a time of need, they feel like they can come to LIFT for help.
