sale, wouldn’t it be nice if we could look at people as an opportunity to build relationships instead of seeing them as a
transaction!
In my business, I continuously have the opportunity to meet people all over the world and I’m always so amazed at,
despite our cultural differences, we always seem to learn from each other. One of the beautiful opportunities when meet-
ing someone new is the realization of just how small this world is. The internet now connects us to people who, just 30
years ago would have remained complete strangers to us.
My colleagues in Dubai, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Italy, Japan, Canada, the Philippines, and throughout the
United States can all be brought together in one place with a simple invitation to connect via the internet while we share
our views, opportunities, hopes, dreams and collaborate because we are opening our minds to create within our circles
of influences and then continuing to widen our circles! Every time we connect with someone we’ve never met before, our
energy creates yet another energy and as that energy grows, we create a bigger energy and together we continue to
raise the vibrational energy of our planet.
I connected with a woman online that I had never met before, she helped me find my home and we became friends,
one day we attended a local function together where we met a local artist whose work I purchased for the cover of my
last book and that cover art caught the eye of a colleague 2000 miles away who was looking for artwork for her book
and the connections just kept flowing. The thing is, you never know where a connection is going to lead you; you may
find your new best friend, your soulmate, your roommate, your next job, the list is endless.
So, the next time you connect with someone for the first time and you realize that the five-year-old child that resides within
you is jumping up and down, clapping his or her hands yelling, “yippee, we’ve made a new friend” why don’t you take
it a step farther and find a way to let your inner child teach you how to play!
When you learn something new, and share it with a friend, and that friend shares it with two other friends, and those
two friends share it with two of their friends and so on, and so on, and so on, you can see that the connections become
an endless stream of possibilities!
