Pinot Vista Tasting Lounge, McMinnville

When Rich Washburn, retired from his winery
position last year, instead of traveling, fishing,
or golf, he opened the Pinot Vista Tasting
Lounge on McMinnville’s hip 3rd Street. It’s the
people interaction paired with a love of wine
that makes Rich an ideal owner of this venture.
When the opportunity arose to purchase a
4-acre vineyard in the coveted Eola Hills, Rich
jumped at the chance to become a farmer. He
now produces 300 cases of his very own Pinot
Noir.
The roomy tasting bar, where Rich presides,
serves a selection of Oregon wine and hospi-
tality, including wine from some small fami-
ly-producers that you aren’t likely to find else-
where. Locals can be found enjoying a glass of
wine after work along with visitors from around
the world, in this cool spot. Rich is happy to
help you find a glass of wine that you will love
or suggest beer on tap.
