About two and a half hours into the flight a large distant piece of earth was revealing itself from the hazy cloud cover. At first I was unsure of what this could be, until the lady next to me (a long time resident of the north western coast) pointed out that it was Mt. St. Helens! Wow! How marvelous and impressive this simple piece of earth was! I couldn’t help but stare at it in awe and ask numerous questions to the lovely lady next to me. She was very patient with my questions, and even seemed to get excited about the landmark herself.
Eventually time passed and the flight had landed in the huge city of Seattle, and It was time for me to depart, and continue on my journey. Shortly after I had arrived at the airport, an airport authority approached me. This is when I began to freak out a little bit, because I had done nothing wrong in my knowledge, and I had been alone and free for only 6 or so hours! I didn’t know what to do, so I kept calm and collective. It turns out, that this particular person was sent to get me so she could take me to the director that I was going to spend the next week with. WHEEEEEEEEWWWW! I was in good hands and meant to enjoy this upcoming week long adventure, but most importantly of all, I had gotten there safe and sound, all by myself ☺.
