How
the
Feather
Duster
Came
to
Be
This
is
a
story
about
how
a
mother
goose
was
the
reason
the
feather
duster
became
a
household-‐
cleaning
device.
We
thank
the
mother
goose
for
letting
one
of
our
writers
write
about
her
story.
This
will
be
made
into
a
children’s
books
in
the
following
weeks.
So
here
is
a
sneak
peak
into
the
book
“
How
the
Feather
Duster
Came
to
Be.”
The
story
of
the
feather
duster
started
when
a
goose
was
walking
home
from
the
local
Walmart.
Her
name
was
Plummy
she
was
getting
groceries
for
her
family
that
was
in
need
of
them
for
very
much.
She
came
across
a
river
of
green
slim,
it
looked
like
the
green
slip
that
was
in
the
TV
show
that
her
little
geese
children
watch
every
night.
She
had
to
get
across
on
a
log
that
was
rolling
and
winding
down
the
river.
All
of
a
sudden
it
hit
a
rock
and
she
went
tumbling
into
the
river
of
green
slim.
She
finally
got
out
of
the
river
once
she
could
reach
land
with
her
little
short
legs.
When
she
got
out
she
realized
the
slim
had
stained
her
feathers
green.
So
she
went
to
the
neighboring
campground
to
rinse
off
her
feathers
in
the
showers.
She
had
to
put
in
some
of
her
left
over
money
into
it
to
start
the
water.
It
took
her
over
2
hrs.
to
finally
get
all
of
the
slim
out
of
her
feathers.
She
also
used
all
of
the
soap
in
the
soap
dispensers.
She
went
out
of
the
campground
and
thanked
the
owners
for
letting
her
use
the
facility
for
her
needs.
She
let
a
tip
and
said
she
would
come
back
and
help
clean
up
the
mess
that
she
left
in
the
shower
room.
