We received the bills for this site and upon conducting our audit we noticed that you had been exceeding your Notified Maximum Demand (NDM) and were being penalized for the excess NMD. We suggested that you increase your NMD from 1, 200 kVA to 1,400 kVA. The proposed saving potential is in the region of ±R18, 000.00per annum at a cost of R119, 016.00 to R119 increase the Notified Maximum Demand (NMD) and an extra R498, 927.03 as additional security charges.

Suggested Action: The costs of increasing the NMD are high and therefore our initial suggestion of increasing your NMD is re not viable in this instance. We will continue to monitor your account and look for other potential cost management that may arise.
