What’s new at the library?
It’s hard to believe, but our students and staff have
signed out over 14 000 books and other materials since
September, a record-breaking start. Our students are
big readers, and the library feeds their passion for
books. The library also offers research instruction
sessions in cooperation with our teachers, and reading
advice to the students, contributing to the cultural and
intellectual life of the school.
Upcoming cultural happenings:
Ecole Jeannine Manuel’s 16th annual Literary Festival - March 29,
30, 31, 2017: Authors and literary VIPs will be making presentations for all grade levels to
spread literary edification and cheer. We continue to seek speakers - please contact us at
[email protected]
Last year’s programme
Poetry by Heart (with ELSA France): French finals for the 3rd edition of this
exciting interschool contest will be held in our school on Saturday, March 18th. Stay tuned!
Le Printemps des jeunes auteurs: Let the submissions begin! Students from CP
to 5e are invited to submit original work to the school’s annual writing contest, for a chance to
be published and lauded. For guideline and to submit work:
