Your Library is not just a space for you to work. It’ s also full of experts who can help to enhance your study and research skills for success.
Based in the Campus Library, the Library Education Centre brings together four specialist teams – Liaison Librarians, Academic Skills Tutors, Health Information and Training Librarians, and Research Support Librarians – to provide tailored expertise and guidance across all areas of academic study and research.
Whether you’ re new to university learning or undertaking advanced research, our integrated service offers a range of opportunities to enhance your skills, build confidence, and achieve your goals. We offer three core services:
• Study guides and resources: A series of online study guides and resources on a range of key skills necessary for university study and research, from referencing and writing to publishing and data management.
• Skills seminars: Regular seminars for you to enhance your academic and research competencies.
• 1:1 appointments: Personalised sessions with a member of the appropriate team, providing focused advice on your specific needs.
