While Egypt’s government is in turmoil, Egyptian children are the ones who are suffering. As far as how human rights go, Egypt is not one of the world’s countries to provide it’s people with such rights. Egypt’s reputation on children’s rights is not one of the bests to stand out in the world and in the universe. Twenty percent of Egypt’s population is living in poverty. Children begin to work at a very young age and don’t receive the proper education that is needed. These are just a few violations that have been made to children.

As far as a child’s education goes, most children in Egypt do not have the chance to finish their studies due to the fact that they have to work at such a young age to earn a living. Girls are often discriminated and don’t end up having the same education as a boy. At their adolescent stage girls are forced into marriages and domestic abuse. They aren’t encouraged into continuing their studies in order to have a well education. About seven percent of children living in Egypt start working at the age of nine. Most children work from nine to eleven hours a day. Some children work in factories and others work in the streets selling toys, tissues, cigarettes, and many other products. Furthermore, children are not living a healthy life. More than half the children are not being fed with all the nutritions that a toddler, child, and teen needs. Such poor alimentation may lead to future health problems as they get older. The reason for future health problems is that families are sending their young ones to work.

In this country children are not given the rights they need to have a valuable life, such as having it’s youth not feel safe in their own homes. Kidnapping has increased as well as child abductions. They are no longer protected because they do not feel safe in a country that is suppose to be their home. Children are no longer being protected because the security in this country has been deteriorating and they have been fighting to get their rights. Most juveniles are being displaced because many try to escape from the violence that occurs at home and the places they live in. Such disasters are going on in this country and to make it worse their government is not doing anything to improve the lives of it’s youth.

Such disasters are going on in this country, and the government is to be blame for such a catastrophe that is going on. Despite the actions it’s people make to prove that they deserve something better, the government is not doing anything at all. Over three hundred children protested against violence and torture. The government officials took action in order to stop and control the protest. Most of the people were sent to jail unfairly and brutally abused by these officials. Instead of the government helping it’s citizens it sent the officials to solve it and the results didn’t show much improvement. Children’s rights have not been well respected. Even though in their constitution it states that it has been approved and entitles children to certain rights, it has failed to carry these rights out.

Luckily, there are organizations that are working hard to help Egypt’s youth improve their lives. A group called ECCR is striving to help children get the rights that belong to them. Child labor is another issue that the ECCR is working on to improve the life of children. An article was created by this group in order to protect children and provide them with the support they need. Under this article children have more opportunities of living a better life such as having the right to an education, healthy lifestyle, and home. The purpose of this article is to ensure that children are being protected under the government. Another organization that is willing to support children with their future is UNICEF. this organization helps children that have no other option but to work in order to prosper in life.

After all, the main problem that is causing all this chaos besides the government is the poverty rate according to all the studies that these organizations have made. Egypt will have to work hard to improve its economy and stretch out a hand to those who need it in order to live well. Despite the amount of help that is given whether its big or small it is worth the try to help people.
