1. What is your greatest achievement in sport?
Winning the Player’ s Player of the Year Award at my club, Cumbernauld RFC, last year. I felt incredibly proud as it showed the support I had from my teammates and the effort that I had put in during the season.
2. How has being a part of a sport’ s club benefited your time at UofG?
I find sport to be the best way to take a break from my studies and relax. Totally taking your mind away from uni work and other things to focus on training or playing means that when I do go back I am refreshed, energised and more likely to actually get stuff done!
3. What would you say to those who are new to sport / anxious about using the gym?
Taking part in sport is not only good for your health and mental wellbeing, it is also fantastic socially with meeting new lifelong friends and team-mates. And then winning with them as part of a team working for each other is one of the best feelings you can have.
