Our Adult program offers classes suited to the beginner wanting to explore the world of movement as well as the experienced dancer wanting to get back into class . Our instructors teach flexible material suited to the needs and abilities of the participants .
ADULT IRISH DANCE Get active , make new friends , and learn how to Irish dance from the best ! Students will learn a " Céilí ", which is the traditional group dancing native to Ireland . This upbeat , social form of Irish dance is one of the best workouts you ' ll find . The class will have the option to occasionally meet at the North Shore Distillery outside of class time to show off their skills and have a fun night out ! Grab a friend and sign up today !
ADULT TAP will provide a foundation in basic vocabulary of tap steps and terminology . Through a variety of combinations dancers will work on principles of timing , rhythm and technique .
Dance Academy Classes
SEASON CLASSES : SEPTEMBER 6 , 2022 - MAY 2023
Program Fees are paid per student for each session . Tuition fees listed include a costume fee of $ 70 for each class and will be applied to your first payment . No costume fee for Pointe .
MULTI-CLASS DISCOUNT : Multi-class discount is offered to students registered for more than one full-year Academy class . Eligible classes must have registration completed prior to October 31st . Registrations will be processed starting with 90 min . classes and will continue in descending order . Discount schedule will be applied accordingly . New discount structure as follows : First class = Full fee , Second class = 10 % discount , Third class = 15 % discount , Fourth class = 20 % discount , Fifth class and more = 25 % discount .

C
What are C level classes ? In order to keep the integrity of our leveled curriculum we offer continuing classes ( 1C , 2C etc .). These classes are for students who have completed at least one year of a level but have not yet mastered the skills required to progress to the next level . The C level curriculum moves faster and works on specific areas of development in an effort to prepare the dancers for advancement . Most students will spend at least two to three years in any given level .
