Memorial Day Weekend Stars & Stripes Golf Event
We have a new golf event for the Memorial Day Weekend . This is a two-person team event that is open to all LGCC members . Each two-person team will be assigned to represent one of two larger teams , Team Stars or Team Stripes ( think Ryder Cup ). Neal Lineberry will be the Captain of the Stars and James Owens will be the Captain of the Stripes . The Stars & Stripes teams will be made up of an equal number of twoperson teams selected by the pro shop .
This will be a two-day event with teams competing in a best ball of two ( net ) event . Each two-person team will be Chasing Points for Team Stars or Team Stripes . One point for winning a hole and ½ point for tying a hole . The team with the highest point total after the two day event will be the winning team .
Date : Saturday & Sunday May 29 & 30 Format : Best Ball of Two ( Net ) Preferred Tees Entry Fee : $ 20.00 Per Player + Cart Time : 9:00 AM Shotgun Start Saturday & Sunday
We encourage you to participate for the comradery and competition in this two-day member event .
April Greens Aerification
The golf course will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday April 6 & 7 for our scheduled greens aerification .
