Food Safety Hazards Introduction to food safety hazards
A food safety hazard or contaminant is any substance or object in food that makes the food harmful or objectionable
This session focuses on food hazards and how the risk of food poisoning or food borne illness can be contained. The subject of food safety hazards will be covered in two sessions as the subject is so wide ranging and it is possibly the most in-depth of all the subjects to be discussed. As you learn about the different things that can pollute food think what you could do to stop it happening.
