Environment
This is the environment in which you are working – bedroom –
lounge – bathroom.
When considering the environment in which you have to carry out
casualty handling activities you should consider:
?Confined working space
?Difficult travel routes, e.g. uneven or hazardous floor surfaces
?Extremes of temperature and/or humidity
?Obstacles/Traffic (other people/pets)

Load
In considering the individual you need to consider their:
?Weight/Size/shape
?Disability/predictability
?Level of communication & co-operation
?Do they have any behavioural problems
