Our organisation is classed as a charity and so our volunteers at
our assemblies and conventions are not employees under the
Health and Safety at work Act 1974.
As Jehovah’s people our responsibility and desire is to ensure the
health, safety and welfare of all.
Jehovah’s Standards are far higher than any standards we may
find. We would want to therefore meet as a minimum, the standards
laid down under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. Thus
providing and maintaining the health, safety and welfare of all,
including our fellow volunteers and any casualties we may be
assisting.
