Picture 5 & 6, show the two handlers supporting and guiding the
conscious casualty to slide across the banana board onto the carry
chair.
In the picture 6 , the handler then secure’s the casualty to the Evac
Chair with the straps/belts provided, and then moves him. (As you
can see by the pictures this is for a casualty who has collapsed on
the toilet but is now conscious.
If the casualty is unconscious, two handlers would move behind the
casualty and while one supports the casualty’s head and neck, the
other handler places a support belt around the casualty, with hand
holds to assist to manoeuvre the casualty down onto a slide sheet.
