Picture 4 demonstrates how the handlers support the casualty, as
the casualty also supports himself by placing his hands on the
chairs in front of him. The handlers should be directed when to
move in unison while communicating with the casualty to ensure he
is supported and feels secure.
As you can see in picture’s 4-6 a Evac Chair is then brought behind
the casualties knees and the casualty is supported to sit down. The
casualty should then be securely fastened to the chair using the
safety belt on the Evac Chair. The handler then wheels the chair
out of the auditorium.
