The Olympika and Ludi Committee improves and writes the rules for O&L, and makes improvements to O&L as a whole. Applications are taken yearly after convention.

The Scholarship Committee assists in the administration of the scholarships offered by the NSCL.

Scholarship Opportunities
Hal Rather Award: Covers the full NJCL Convention registration for one NSCL member. Funded by a bequest from longtime NSCL member Hal Rather.
Susan S. Schearer Scholarship: A $2,000 award for NSCL members entering their sophomore, junior, or senior year of college with a major in Latin, Greek, Classics, or Classical Studies. Selection is based on financial need, SCL service, and academic achievement.
Dennis M. Bartlow Book Award: A $600 award given to the NSCLS scholarship applicant with the greatest financial need.
T.C. Cheever Travel Award: A new award open to all regular and associate members of the NSCL. Provides travel support to attend NJCL Convention, based on financial need.

We maintain and update the website throughout the year. Anytime a committee/officer has a change or update that they want reflected on the website, they can contact us to make that change! We also update the website during convention to make sure everyone is up to speed. We take applicants in July, during national convention!
We are currently seeking any errors (broken links, stock photos) on the website and repairing them as we find them. We are also trying to get the state update form up-and-running so that we can get the chapter directory back on track. Once we feel that the website is back up-to-date, we will have time to perhaps do a fun project!
