May is a great time to focus on BIG changes in your health. Spring brings new life, new hopes, and new outlooks on life; why not spend some time with nature meditating and relieving yourself of any pressure or stress in your life. One great outdoor exercise that helps bring inner peace, spirituality, and relieves stress is yoga. Try going to a nature preserve with your yoga mat and practice some earthly positions. Take time to lie on your mat, relax and meditate. Embrace nature and let your mind release all your worries.
Stereotypes are never easy to deal with but do not be afraid to prove others wrong when you do the unexpected. Exercising in nature is not something that all BIG women will feel comfortable doing. If you are feeling intimidated bring a friend or a group of BIG women and men along with you. For safety reasons, bringing a friend along is also a great idea.[]
