RICK HERTER— Rick Herter is an award‐winning American aviation artist. His nationally recognized air show posters led to an invitation to join the elite Air Force Art Program in 1987. Herter’ s work appears in major public and private collections, including the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum, the U. S. Air Force Academy, the Pentagon, and leading aerospace corporations such as Boeing, Rolls‐Royce, and Gulfstream. He has completed commissions for U. S. and international armed forces and created the world’ s largest indoor hand‐painted mural at the AIR ZOO in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Herter has flown worldwide with military units and has experienced aircraft ranging from the P‐51 Mustang to modern fighters. A dedicated community member, he frequently speaks to schools, churches, and service organizations.
HILLARY EMANUELE— Hillary is currently an at-home mom to her two boys. She has been fortunate enough to volunteer in their classrooms, school library, and on field trips. Before moving to western Washington, she worked in social services with families caring for the elderly and disabled.

She has taught every major scientific discipline, from foundational concepts to advanced applications, and is passionate about making complex ideas accessible through hands‐on experimentation and real‐world problem‐solving. Her classroom has always been a place where curiosity is encouraged, creativity is valued, and students learn to think like innovators. Beyond teaching, Kim is an active medical inventor, exploring ideas and building prototypes that blend scientific insight with practical design. Kim is driven by a lifelong love of discovery and a commitment to inspiring the next generation of creators.
JENNIFER FERRERO— writes for Northwest Aerospace News Magazine and other aerospace and manufacturing trade publications. She operates Ferrero Agency( www. ferreroagency. com), a content marketing company, and conducts work for aerospace, manufacturing, space, and AI companies.
