TREVOR SILL— In the Fall of 2014, Trevor Sill, a school counselor at the time and knowing virtually nothing about remote control aircraft, found himself in the position of a reluctant advisor of a middle school UAS( Unmanned Aircraft System) club. He is now the Flite Test STEM curriculum director and helps educators and families use DIY model airplanes and drones with the Flite Test STEM curriculum. Trevor has provided UAS-related professional development for career and technical education teachers at state-level educational conferences, taught middle school classes using FT STEM, and directed numerous STEM-related events for students and educators around the country.

MELISSA ROTH— is co-owner and lead researcher at Off Planet Research in Everett, Washington. With her background in mechanical engineering, Melissa works with clients to ensure researchers and engineers get the best simulant for their testing to help them learn to survive and thrive in some of the harshest environments in our solar system. She believes it is important to make space accessible to everyone.

SHARON HAGLE— is board chair and founder of SpaceKids Global. Sharon completed her first space flight aboard Blue Origin’ s New Shepard NS-20, which launched on March 31, 2022, as a member of Crew 4. Founded in 2015, SpaceKids Global’ s mission is to bring the possibility of space to kids everywhere by inspiring students to excel in STEAM + Environment education, ensuring girls are equally represented.
