SkillsUSA: Competing & Leading
Core Plus Aerospace students at Snohomish High School also compete in SkillsUSA competitions where they test their skills in events like manufacturing assembly, welding, drafting, and technical math. Students build confidence and connect classroom skills to real-world job skills in a fun and memorable way.
Elizabeth joined SkillsUSA as a sophomore and became the youngest student to compete in the aerospace assembler contest. She went on to serve as vice president and later president of the chapter at her school.
