practice an approach, or experience what a failure was like, they had to put themselves in a dangerous or unfamiliar situation. Now, we can put ourselves through the same level of scrutinous training, without risking any lives.
MY HOME COCKPIT: FULLY INTEGRATED WITH AN XBOX AND MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR, THIS CUSTOM RIG COST JUST $ 700(£ 500) TO BUILD.
Another aspect to appreciate as well is the AI integration into flight training. AI can create dynamic scenarios, and give real-time coaching with post-flight analysis on a 24 / 7 availability. This ensures an even smaller margin of error in aviation, due to more universally experienced pilots. When someone initially mentions a flight simulator, you’ d probably envision the multi-million dollar full-motion simulators facilitated by Boeing. However, the reality is, simulators come in all shapes and sizes, with some options being extremely accommodative and affordable for all levels of interest in aviation.
For instance, I was able to build one that is fully integrated with my Xbox and Microsoft flight simulator for $ 700(£ 500). While it doesn’ t come equipped with every knob and switch, I have definitely seen a difference in the quality of my airmanship after purchasing. You may also commonly encounter simulators at your local flight school and I highly encourage their use. Certain simulators that are certified by the FAA, such as RedBird, FlightSafety, or RealSimGear, can be used to acquire real applicable hours towards your next flight license.

This can be a great way to acquire additional hours and quality training, in a more cost effective manner. I hope that everyone reading knows that becoming a pilot, or any job in the aerospace industry, has never been more achievable than now— especially with all of these new and adaptive technologies. To help anyone, in all walks of life, shoot for the sky!
