let ' s build a moon base!

Print out the downloadable Moon buildings, cut them out, and lay out your base on the grid!
habitat module
The main“ living house” where astronauts sleep, eat, and relax. It’ s airtight, radiation‐shielded, and keeps everyone safe from extreme temperatures.
research lab
A protected lab for studying Moon rocks, ice, dust, and running experiments that help us learn how humans can live long term in space.
power station
Solar towers or small nuclear reactors that generate electricity for the entire base— especially important during the long, freezing lunar night.
communications hub
A building full of antennas and relay systems that keep the Moon Base connected to Earth and to orbiting satellites.
isru processing plant
A resource‐processing building that turns lunar ice into drinkable water, breathable oxygen, and possibly rocket fuel.
rover garage
A pressurized garage for rovers and drones to store, repair, charge, and prepare them for exploration trips.
satellite tower
Deployable towers that extend communication capabilities on the lunar surface.
hall modules
A hallway that connects different modules together. storage hall
A big supply building that stores food, tools, spare parts, science gear, and incoming cargo.
life support module
The“ lungs” of the base: filters air, recycles water, manages temperature, and keeps the habitat stable and healthy.
landing pad
A flat, reinforced landing zone where astronauts unload cargo, refuel equipment, and prepare for missions. emergency shelter
A heavily shielded safe room for solar storms or emergencies, designed to protect astronauts from dangerous radiation bursts.
greenhouse module

A sealed, self-sustaining modular structure designed to grow crops, produce oxygen, and recycle water. share your moon labs with us!
