KEVIN L. SIMMONS— I am the Co-creator of the SmallSat Education Conference, held annually at the Kennedy Space Center. Currently I am a Limitless Space Institute Ambassador, NASA AAPT HEAT Physics Ambassador, Space Foundation Teacher Liaison, and an ISS Educator Ambassador. I serve on the AIAA SmallSat Technical Committee and the AIAA Education Committee. My Venn diagram is the intersection of aerospace( CubeSats), entrepreneurship, education, and policy. I was selected as Principal Investigator of WeissSat-1 and CapSat-1 through NASA’ s CSLI. I am Co-Investigator for the FlipSat-1. P. I. of WolfSat-1, a CubeSat recently selected by Firefly for launch through its DREAM 2.0 Program.
LUCY WEST— Award winning artist Lucy West has over 40 years experience as a professional artist. Her works have been commissioned and / or exhibited by notable venues such as NASA’ s Launch Control Center at Kennedy Space Center, The House of Representatives in Washington D. C., Lowell Observatory, The Art of Planetary Sciences, World View Space Port, Biosphere 2, the Bird Aviation Museum and Invention Center in Sagle, Idaho, and other locations worldwide. Her space and science compositions are collected by astronauts, astronomers and scientists.
DAVE SICKERT— With over 30 years of experience in the media industry, I’ m focused on creating impactful educational content that connects young learners with real-world industry and ideas. As the leader of an educational media company, I collaborate with educators, producers, and journalists to develop engaging resources designed specifically for K-6 students, crafting stories that spark curiosity and encourage exploration. Leveraging cutting-edge resources, I focus on capturing, refining, and curating content that empowers students to think critically, dream boldly, and engage with the world around them.
