Throughout the discussion , the students interjected with challenging questions and their eyes lit up with excitement as they envisioned the future of human spaceflight and bounds of space technology . We discussed higher education degree tracks ; pathways to college in Kenya ; programs to which students can apply for advancing their skillsets in STEM fields ; and finding mentors in the industry through tools like cold-emailing and LinkedIn . Afterwards , all of the students made their own Blue Origin postcards that will fly to space on Blue Origin ’ s New Shepard , carrying their aspirations to the stars .
Apart from sharing my love for aerospace with all of the students , through this unique opportunity , I learned about the incredible Maasai culture and became a member of their beautiful family .
