Finally it was the day of the exhibition. Bailey‘s family was anxious but the dog on the other hand was bouncing all over the place and appeared to be very excited. They had been waiting for a long time for this exhibition and training very hard. There was some time left before the start of the show which both the dogs and the owners could use to play, exercise or do other things. Harry decided that Bailey and he had to use their free time for playing. Unknown to them, they were being watched. The host of the exhibition had clearly seen that Bailey was an extraordinarily smart and athletic dog that could win many competitions and make a lot of money. He needed to have him. So the man decided that he would lure Bailey to him and take him away. He came over to Harry and spun some lie about having to check Bailey‘s response to flashing lights and loud sounds. Harry thought that it was just some stupid fancy event formality and let him take Bailey with him. As soon as the host was out of sight, he grabbed Bailey, stuffed him in a box and took off. There was very little time left before the exhibition started and Harry couldn’t find Bailey anywhere. He tried asking around but no one had seen him. Then Harry decided to search in the area where he had seen the man take Bailey. The only thing he found there was an old tattered notebook on the ground. The boy decided to open it and there he found a variety of dog breeds, their best and worst qualities, some random dates, names, phone numbers and locations. Harry immediately suspected something and took the notebook to his parents and told them to call the police.
