They felt scared but relieved that they had each other. Their trip was going well. They have been driving for about 16 hours when suddenly Emanuele read an article about Arthur grandmother’s stolen money. Then they all got scared because they did not think of the consequence of stealing the money. However, they did not make much of it. They were 16 hours away from Lithuania. They suspected that no one would catch them because they thought they had enough distance and when they finally calmed down until the police pulled over the bus. They all got nervous and did not know what to do. Therefore, they collected their backpacks, got off the bus, and started running.
A few hours passed, as the kids had run away their homes. Parents and Arthur’s grandmother were so nervous about the missing kids as well as stolen money. They reported the police about the accident as none of the adults knew where the kids had been. The police officer offered to come to the police office. Finally, all the kids’ relatives met each other at the police.
Not only the police station looked dark and cold, with the walls full of missing people’s photos, but also the police officer seemed rather rude and condemnatory. The man with a deep voice asked only one, the most important question:
