“And now, the ghosts must be more than furious knowing we dress up as them and other monsters. And we have fun, instead of being scared!” Ann exclaimed, doing her best to keep her voice quiet.

Hazel gazed at Ann. Her best friend just told her this. Hazel wasn’t a sceptic, but she wasn’t an extreme believer. But… Ann wouldn’t lie or make such mad assumptions. Hazel blinked, looking down to her feet, finding them more than interesting.
