My name is LaRika Smith known by many as ~Prov31Diamond~ and/or Prophetess LaRika. As we come together for this season in celebration of giving thanks and love to those we love, I would like to petition you for assistance in reaching the cost of publication for my book, A Diamond Heart.
This book, A Diamond' Heart; is one of the many books the Lord has entrusted me to author. It is a compilation of testimonial, inspirational, and prophetic poetry. I believe in being the gift that keeps giving therefore if the Lord has laid it upon your heart to sow a seed into my book ministry, you will also sow a seed into the American Cancer Society as a portion of the proceeds from this book will be donated in honor of my mother Jeanetta (Jan) Durden who truly was a woman with A DIAMOND Heart.
My mother passed away Apri 14, 1999 after a four year long battle with ovarian cancer.She was symbolized as the neighborhood mother to many so her death impacted the lives of many. Thinking over her last days I will never forget how hard it was to see her endure such pain, the torment of cancer and agony of one day leaving her three children behind. She wrestled with so many questions, who will help my children, how will they take this, Lord I will miss some of the most precious moments of their lives, like their weddings, graduations, my grandchildren. I heard my mother cry night after night asking the Lord these questions and while I can't help my mother I can help others who are fighting cancer. My vision doesn't simply stop with the publication of this book, I aim to began a memorial fund in honor of my mother. This fund will be used to assist surviving children of cancer victors birth forth their dreams to become doctors, writers, actors, artist, or anything that adds to the greater good of our nation.
