This past summer , during Prairie Days , Ambassadors : Kortney Swartzer & Annie Eastling and Junior Ambassadors : Myleen Juarez & Hazel Thompson were crowned as 2024-2025 Lester Prairie Ambassadors .
Everyone is welcome to join the Royalty at Prairie Days Friday and Saturday , July 18th and 19th , 2025 .
Lester Prairie Ambassador Candidate applications will open in February and are due by the end of April .
If you have any questions about the Lester Prairie Ambassador Program or are interested in being a candidate please email lesterprairieambassadors @ gmail . com .
Applications will also be available at Lester Prairie School .

Local Events
Lester Prairie loves to celebrate and has many traditional events and activities throughout the year .
Easter Egg Hunt
The Lester Prairie Lions Club sponsors an Easter Egg Hunt the Saturday before Easter at 2nd Ave Park . Children hunt for eggs , and one lucky winner who finds the golden egg receives a prize . In conclusion , every kid gets a bag of treats .
Prairie Days
Prairie Days is Lester Prairie ’ s community celebration featuring activities for the whole family , food , fireworks , and live music . The celebration will be July 18 and 19 , 2025 at 2nd Ave . Park .
Previous activities have included kids ’ games , live music , a car show , a bean bag tournament for adults and teenagers , a grand parade , and fireworks .

Garage Sale Day
Garage Sale Day in Lester Prairie has been a tradition since 1979 . The event typically takes place on the third Saturday in September .
Business Halloween Trick or Treat
The Lester Prairie Business Association sponsors a trick-or-treat event with the downtown businesses on Halloween .
Holiday Celebration
The LP Lions and LP Business Association usually arrange a holiday celebration in December . The Lions host a pancake breakfast . The LPBA sponsors Santa Claus . Attendees can get pictures with Santa , and the kids can tell Santa what they want for Christmas . Students from LPHS perform holiday music throughout the morning .
