LP school district is small but offers big opportunities . Currently , approximately 450 students are enrolled , with an average grade size of 35 students . The average elementary classroom size is 18 . Lester Prairie High School provides a wide range of classes to support students ’ diverse interests , including College NOW courses through SMSU , PSEO options , and online college courses .
You can do it all at school ! Over 70 % of junior and senior high school students participate in extracurricular activities such as drama , band ,
athletics , FFA , and Knowledge Bowl , to name a few .
The school opened its new addition and renovations three years ago , enhancing academic and extracurricular opportunities , improving the building ’ s aesthetic experience , and increasing safety with controlled and secure entries .
Lester Prairie Schools recognizes the strong community support and the success it creates for our students , who have gone on to participate in regional , state , national , and international competitions over the last several years .
