Garbage pickup
The township doesn ’ t provide garbage service . Instead , residents must arrange with a local sanitation company for pickup .
Burning permits
Effective Feb . 9 , 2022 , permission for open burning was extended to all county residents without needing individual or written permits . Before starting an open burn , the person is responsible for contacting the McLeod County Sheriff ’ s office for confirmation that no burning ban or restrictions are in place at 320-864-3134 before burning .
