BIG DEALS Big Clouds Gather in India Bright Lights, Big Citi Pumping Out Palo Turkcell Makes a Good Call Big congratulations go to the team in India for achieving a major 3m€ Juniper Networks deal at Global Cloud Exchange (GCE) with Reliance Communications. GCE is building significant cloud infrastructure across Asia and the US, and lots of hard work of from the Exclusive team was critical to ensuring a very successful project. Exclusive Networks Denmark has opened the floodgates with a jumbo Palo Alto deal for water pump manufacturer, Grundfos. The 2.05m€ contract was won thanks to hard work from across the team, including Exclusive Capital and reseller Credocom. Italians Crush Checkpoint (Again) Exclusive Networks Italy has again showed no mercy to Checkpoint; kicking the vendor out of two major accounts. First, with partner Lantech, for a 650k€ Fortinet deal at the Ministry of Justice, and then a 770k€ project for Infocert alongside reseller Mediasecure. The team has also landed some notable Palo Alto deals, including for petroleum firm Q8 (780k€) and phone operator TIM (1.2m€). A monster 1.2m€ Palo Alto deal for Citibank, with Dimension Data, is the pick of the latest Exclusive Networks Singapore sales sheet. Others included a 729k€ Palo Alto deal for Republic Polytechnic, a 452k€ F5 contract for Central Provident Fund, and a 1m€ Alcatel- Lucent project for the Singapore Ministry of Education. Two of the biggest recent deals in Turkey have come from giant mobile operator, Turkcell, for a combined value of 1.65m€. The largest chunk is for a major Fortinet deployment featuring the 5000-series chassis, struck with partner Netas, which will be extended later in 2018. The Exclusive Networks Turkey team also hooked up with partner Sekom for an impressive Citrix Netscaler project for the same customer. Boosting the Gig Economy Exclusive Networks ME’s Vendor Manager, Amit Kumar, was instrumental in landing a 1.3m€ deal with the UAE National Electronics Security Authority (NESA), keeping partner Dark Matter and the NESA CIO focused on the value of an advanced Gigamon solution - fighting off competition from Netscout. Grid Computing The Philippines has again been the scene for recent sales success, including an innovative 250k€ Polycom project for the National Grid Corporation, struck with partner Microbase. The local team have also landed a large 972k€ F5 Networks deal for Smart Communications, alongside the partner Trends & Technologies. 8 9
