Swimming in the Olympics Games
of London 2012
There are five styles of Swimming: crawl, breaststroke, backstroke, butterfly and freestyle.
The more famous swimmers are:
Michael Phelps, he was born in the USA, and in the Olympics Games of London of 2012 he won a silver medal in 200m Men Butterfly Style and the gold medal in 200m Men Combined Individual.
Mireia Belmonte, she was born in Catalonia, and in the Olympic Games of London 2012 she won the silver medal in Women 200 m butterfly Style and also a silver medal in 800 m Women Free Style.
In synchronized swimming, Ona Carbonell and Andrea Fuentes remained in second place and won the silver medal. First were the Russians Natalia Ishchenko and Svetlana Romashina. And in the third place the Chinese Huang Xuechen and Liu Ou.
In synchronized swimming by teams, in third place was the Spanish team, in the second place was the Chinese team and in the first place was the Russian team.
Spain win the bronze medal.
