What’s New in Tech? Email Consents At Leland Management, we take your privacy and data security very seriously. By complying with both local and international data privacy standards, Leland has implemented the appropriate technical and security features to ensure full protection of your personal data. Effective May 2018, we have implemented technology that enables all communities we manage to comply with the most stringent local and international data privacy standards. What is Consent? Consent (or opting-in) is granting permission to accept delivery of email communications. Consent must be given on an opt-in basis and specific to the type of email you want to receive. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time by simply opting-out or unsubscribing from the communication. What does this mean for you? With our new data privacy standards, you must opt-in before you are able to receive any communications by email. Opting in can be done via two ways: 1. Go to your community’s resident portal and complete your account profile 2. Using your community Email Sign up Form (Applies to Ruby Websites) Leland Ruby Website Upgrades We have continued to add upgrades and new features to our community website options based on the valuable feedback we receive from boards and residents. We are in the process of transitioning communities using our included website option to the new Resident Portal Template. This contains the same features boards and residents were used to in their existing portal, but has a more modern look and feel and allows for more personalized options.
