Fall Events for your Community
Pumpkin Carving Contest
A pumpkin carving contest can be great fun for adults and for kids! For kids too li le to carve, parents could
either help, or children in that age group could have a pumpkin coloring or pain ng contest. Ask guests to
either bring their own pumpkin, or charge a modest registra on fee to provide the pumpkins.
Grape Stomp!
Do you have a winery in the area? Ask if you can pair up to arrange a grape stomping event. This is another
fun event for kids and adults and can be a team effort with one person stomping the grapes and one helping
keep the juice flowing into the jugs.
Fall Fes val
A fall fes val can be an amazing community event and there are a lot of op ons for events. Neighbors that
are good cooks can provide food. Do you have any musicians in the neighborhood? Maybe they will donate
their me. A small entry fee can help pay your entertainers and chefs and ensure that everyone has a great
me. You can even open this up to people outside of the community and use funds to cover expenses or
donate to a local charity.
Thanksgiving Potluck
Give your residents an opportunity to show how grateful they are for each other! A potluck brings people
together and allows residents to show off their cooking skills.
