Seasons WHAT TO GIVE Facebook friends shared their best last-minute gift ideas (other than cash and gift cards): • Baked goods are always a hit. • Make dinner for friends — it’s like giving the gift of time. • Candles, scarves, wine or good chocolate. • A lottery tree. It can be big or small. You can add gift cards, too, especially if you know the gift recipient’s go-to places. • A nice bottle of wine, mix of craft beers, or a bottle of liquor. You can make a basket and add nuts, candy, etc. • Mason jars filled with whatever is on hand — candy, slips of paper with coupons for dinner out, movie night, lunch date or a recipe for cookies with ingredients inside the jar. • Buy a variety of frames and fill them with photos of good times with friends and family. Likewise, a trip to Presque Isle Gallery and Gifts located at the Tom Ridge Environmental Center will surely help you manage your shopping list. “We have such a variety of items,” says Manager Sally Leubin. “It’s hard to talk about just a few of them.” The gallery includes local art, nautical-themed gifts and educational toys; most of the items are made in the United States. The gallery is filled with products of local artists, including Mark Leffingwell’s unique driftwood art. Presque Isle coffee from Fairview’s Out of the Grey Coffeehousecafe and Presque Isle ceramic mugs would make a lovely gift with a hometown touch. There are plenty of Erie and Presque Isle T-shirts, sweatshirts and windbreakers from which to choose in adult and kid sizes. For the kids on your list, there are toys, puppets, stuffed WHERE TO GO Naturally Yours Designs 7359 W.
