Camping? McCarty Ranch has it! McCarty Ranch offers 13 tent sites and
six RV/trailer sites that provide a truly primitive camping experience.
A picnic table, a fire ring with a cooking grate, and a lantern hook are
located at each site. You won’t find electricity or water at your campsite
but a bathhouse, fully equipped with restroom and shower facilities, is
on the property for guests to use. Camping at McCarty Ranch Preserve
is for the “back-to-the-basics, under the stars, listening to the crickets’
chirp, watching for lightning bugs and enjoying the nature of it all”
camping experience! Stop by the Community Center today to make your
reservation.
Our extremely popular annual event at McCarty Ranch Preserve, the
Bonfire Hayride, is held in February each year. This past year, based
upon the overwhelming popularity and attendance at the annual
event, the City has now planned an additional Bonfire Hayride event
each year. The next Bonfire Hayride event is scheduled to take place
on Saturday, November 10, 2018, from 3 to 7 p.m., at the Preserve.
