Leisure Needs Assessment Results
Each year, the Leisure Services department celebrates numerous victories and evaluates how we can give you better opportunities.
In the coming two years, five new programs will be introduced.
Here’s how we chose our new services:
Leisure Services Needs Assessment completed by over 500 individuals and families
Congratulations to Nathan Arnold, the Needs Assessment raffle winner!
Leisure Retreat
Environmental Scan of current recreational opportunities in the metro St. Louis area.
Focus Groups and Meetings with families, departments, and the Recreation Council of
Greater St. Louis to discuss current and future needs.
Our new and existing services will be directed by these four outcomes:
Leisure Services will strive to provide a welcoming and open atmosphere to people of all
abilities in existing and new programs
To provide people with a happy and healthy lifestyle.
People will gain a better understanding of themselves and people with differences.
The community will be open to new visions and live a more enriched life that includes equality for all.
