Welcome Message
Dear Students, Alumni, and Faculty,
On behalf of our team at the Legacy Fund, it’s my privilege to say welcome, and thank you for your interest in the Legacy Fund project! To
those of you for whom the Legacy Fund is new, I want to say a special welcome to you. Inside this booklet you will find lots of information
on the Legacy Fund and I hope that what you find will ignite in you the same kind of passion that led us to start this project just over two
years ago.
It is amazing to reflect both on how far we have come since our genesis, as well as to gaze into the future in anticipation of all of the
exciting things to come. For example, I never imagined that we would receive donations on the first day of our launch, or that we would get
to be involved so early on in the Queen’s Innovation Summit, one of the crown jewels of the MBA program. Furthermore, I have heard over
and over again that our model of transparency, accountability, and direct investment resonates with students and alumni. This simple fact
only reinforces my belief that we are on to something unique and important, and I continue to be energized by the possibilities that this
project brings to the MBA program.
For those of you that have been with us along this journey, I want to thank you for all your passionate support, your time, and your
investment in the future of the Queen’s MBA - all of these are greatly appreciated. For those of you that have yet to join us, we hope to find
you further down the road. As much as this has been an exciting journey so far, there is so much more to come.
