3. General Public: are the general consumers of the excellent analytical and scholastic work of LEF
having access to and using (with due credit) our work in any analytical writings, academic
environment and policy discussions. Membership is opened to all around the world with interest
in Liberia and the region. At this level, it is open to the public. Anyone can join.
Governance Framework: LEF is governed by an interim Board of Trustees for 3yrs beginning November
2014. Its executive is directed by its founder serving as President of the Forum and also serves as chairman
of the Board. The scholastic work is directed by a Vice President for Macro-Economic Analysis supported
by a Policy Analyst both of whom work on a voluntary basis. For ensuring scholastic quality and rigor, the
Council of Scholars consisting of 5 of the top-Most Senior Fellows (with the rank of “Senior Fellow
Emeritus”) with at least a Masters plus 20yrs of exceptional scholastic experience or a PhD plus minimum
15yrs of scholastic experience in one or more of the key areas of Economics, Mathematics and Governance
including Law.
NOTICE: Call for application/membership: Senior Fellows and Learning Fellows; opened until 31st
December 2014. A new structure of LEF containing a full list of selected Senior Fellow Emeritus, Senior
Fellows and Learning Fellows will be released by 15th January 2015 (Please note that this is a voluntary
status and has no compensation attached) as well as a full set of procedures and guidelines and
