HOMES AND GARDENS

Improve your home come rain or shine

DEFINING the seasons is a rather tricky undertaking these days with our seemingly changing climate and weather patterns of late.
Traditionally however June and July signals the transition from spring into summer offering the perfect opportunity for homeowners to give their property a timely overhaul both inside and out.
Here are five easy-to-do projects that will make your house look great in time for the warmer weather that we’ re all hoping for!
Whether you want your house to look great for you or for a potential buyer, these simple ideas can go a long way to making your house look better without costing you a lot of money.
When it comes to home improvement projects, the best place to start when trying to make your house look better in the spring and summertime is outdoors and in
the garden.
Bare spots of grass, clumps of dandelions, and other problems in your garden can detract from the home and are easy and relatively cheap to fix.
For little money you can buy a bag of bare spot grass seed that is designed to fix those unsightly patches- just follow the simple directions on the bag to get your grass going.
Also, there are numerous products sold for the removal of dandelions and other problem weeds.
Refreshing the landscaping of the garden is another great way to give your space a new lease of life. This can be a small or large project depending on your budget and vision but even a few touches here and there will spruce things up very quickly.
Planting some seasonal flowers in the borders is also a great way to quickly inject some colour
