WEDDINGS

The date Andrew, a continuous improvement engineer and the son of Steve and Josie Skinner married his sweetheart Vikki, was also particularly significant being 10 years exactly to the day the couple went on their first date together.
150 guests attended the evening reception, also held at the Peveril of the Peak, after a wonderful day time celebration in which the weather held out fabulously with the exception a small hail storm which Vikki said didn’ t spoil the wedding in the slightest.
As the day drew to a close the newlyweds enjoyed their first dance as husband and wife to Aerosmith’ s‘ Don’ t want to miss a thing’ sang beautifully by Natalie Owen who was accompanied on the guitar by Gareth Chell.
Following the wedding, just two days later, the couple who live in Leek jetted off to enjoy a jam packed two week honeymoon in the states where they took in the sights of New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Las Vegas.
