Working within the engineering department and reporting to the Technical Manager this role involves carrying out Engine Manual and Rolls Royce Specification updates, which means cross referencing the current with the nw Engine Manual and Specification then implementing any changes. Responsible for undertaking the day-to-day role of managing projects arising from any Business requirements, whilst managing the smooth operation of Laser Welding team and taking care of the safety needs through
preventative Maintenance and Risk Assessment safety orientated.

Working within the Tooling and Calibration Department this role involves maintaining the tooling requirements of the production department to enable them to carry out all necessary repairs for the components of aerospace and industrial gas turbine engines. The duties require me to conform within the guidelines of FAA, CAA and any other quality organisation including our own, working within tight tolerances and achieving the high degree of accuracy that this job entails. The recording of all information obtained from the periodic calibration carried out is essential for traceability purposes of any auditing team that frequent this department.

Retained Firefighter for Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue service, alongside my full-time job I offered numerous hours to my local fire station in Eastwood. The role required me to respond outside of my working hours to various incidents within the region, Road Traffic incidents, house fires and the occasional rescue of kids or animals up trees kept us busy.

FIRE SERVICE OPERATIONS
The Role Involved learning how to become a competent C. N. C. Machine Programmer / operator within the company. After the three-month probationary period elapsed I progressed to full time and excelled within the department learning numerous tasks including the programming of C. N. C. surface grinders, milling machines, electro chemical grinders, multi axis milling machines and training to be proficient C. N. C. Laser Welder. Involvement within the development of repairs for new turbine engines working closely with the senior engineer, then progressing the repairs from the development through to the approvals stage and full production.

Royal-Navy – Marine Engineer Mechanic.
The role of Marine Engineer Mechanic included responsibilities such as testing, fault diagnosis, and planned maintenance on the various systems throughout the ship, I worked in both axillary machinery rooms and main engine rooms as well as responsibilities for the day-to-day plumbing within the ship I had responsibilities for taking samples of water and sewage. The role required a comprehensive understanding of the various techniques used within engineering principles i. e. pneumatics, propulsion, Gas turbines etc.
