En VO Pride and Prejudice : A literary phenomenon Keira Knightley as Elizabeth but I didn’t like it. The atmosphere was there but the actors’ performance, in my view, was less convincing. I was also disappointed because in two hours we cannot tell everything so a lot of details were missing in this adaptation. Apart from the adaptations, several spin-off books were written using the Pride and Prejudice plot (Darcy’s life and their children, Darcy’s diary…) and we can’t count anymore the references to Pride and Prejudice in literature ! The most obvious one is in Helen Fielding’s book, Bridget Jones where the eponymous character is a fan of Colin Firth, especially for his role of Darcy in Pride and Prejudice’s BBC adaptation. One of the main characters is called Mark Darcy and in the film, he is played by Colin Firth to insist on this will to honour Austen’s work. Pride and Prejudice in theater, 2005 Darcy’s Diary, a derived book written by a fan which has written the book in Darcy’s point of view. Cinco buenas razones aprender Español
