school. Inf init e is what I'm
k now n by t o ever yone. "The
poet " was added when I
decided t o be and ur ban gr iot
. It 's meaning: I w ill w r it e t ill
my dying day and my wor ds
w ill live for ever. Alt hough my
family conver t ed t o

Alber t -Wr it ing is somet hing I
did my ent ir e life. I would
keep jour nals on life event s
and w r it e love let t er s t o
cr ushes when I was young.
"Life" happened and In 20 0 5
is when I st ar t ed shar ing t he scar s
of it , f r om childhood t o an adult
t hr ough ur ban poet r y.

t hat inspir ed you?
Alber t - Would have t o give pr ops t o
t he queen Maya Angelou. She's t he
one who inf luenced my pen t he
most . Her st r ong voice and power f ul
deliver y capt ivat ed me. I want ed t o
speak eloquent ly as she did. My
major inspir at ion der ives f r om t he
deat h of family and f r iends. The
hur t and pain t hat was sust ained in
t hr ee decades of blaspheme, f uels
t he f ir e in me t o save young souls of
t he inner cit y's f r om feeling my level
of hur t and pain.

Pet er s. By t he end of t his year my
second book w ill be published "f r om

any up and coming poet s?
Alber t - Be your self ! Tell your st or y.

because t her e ar e none. Most
impor t ant ly... Shar e your wor ds
and suppor t ot her s. For t hose of you
t hat want t o go t o open mics and
r ecit e or have plans t o do shows in
t he f ut ur e, w r it e t hen r ecor d your
pieces so you can play back and
list en t o your self. It 's good for
memor izat ion and deliver y.
