Carousel Museum
For more than a decade, visitors of all ages
have enjoyed riding our restored 1913
carousel which was handcrafted here in
Leavenworth by the “Carnival King”, C.W.
Parker. There is no admission fee to browse
the two-story museum, but there is a charge
for a guided tour and a carousel ride. Hours
are Thursday- Saturday from 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
and Sunday from 1-5 p.m.

First City Museum
View an extensive collection of early
Leavenworth frontier railroad and
manufacturing industries artifacts, including
buggies and cutters, Great Western stoves,
even a large bank safe where Buffalo Bill
Cody’s father, Isaac, stored his gold dust!
The museum also features carriages and two
prison mock ups and memorabilia.Hours are
Thursday 1-5 p.m. Admission is charged.
